Independio is backed by a strong vision for the trajectory of its use, the growth plan for availability in additional markets and with additional populations, and the goals and milestones currently guiding the apps framework and development plan. Below, review the current development milestones and goals that are guiding Independio’s development plan now. Updates will be added over time as Independio continues to expand its vision and launch to the public market.
Current Development Milestones
Independio is currently fundraising to support the development of the app and the continued research of the apps benefits to individuals with Autism and Intellectual Disabilities.
Independio has created a thorough marketing plan to implement Independio in the state of Pennsylvania.
Independio is working on partnering with a team of app developers to support building the next stable version of Independio.
Real time testing of the next stable version of Independio will begin with a small group of professionals, users, and caretakers volunteers to ensure the app is functioning efficiently for its intended users.
Independio will begin launching the app publicly to the Pennsylvania human services marketplace first. Additionally, the app, without full state professional features, will be launched in the United States with subscription options for families and/or professionals to support their individual cases using the basic features available for caretakers and users.
* State level features vary from state to state, so Independio will have to launch Independio state level professional features one by one. Our CEO and COO have developed a launching plan for the state by state roll-outs that will be made available upon public release of Independio.
Once launched, Independio will begin working on feedback requests, troubleshooting issues, and enhancements. Enhancements will include features to support adults with more advanced intellectual disabilities and down syndrome, and support for autistic and intellectually disabled children in Pennsylvania schools that have Independent Education Plans (IEP). Keep an eye on our blog for emerging features, updates, enhancements, and more.
Current Development Goals
- The current development plan for Independio is develop the app for testing and use within the state of Pennsylvania. This goal will allow Independio’s development and marketing team to build a strong process for utilizing Independio successfully, and provide evidence of Independio’s supports in lowering the waiting list timeframes, the budget and the issues that cause delays in progress.
- Additional features will be added to Independio to support behavioral and community goals.
Once Independio perfects its system and process within Pennsylvania, the app will be made available in other states throughout the United States. Customizations will be made in an effort to meet each states needs, and the demands of the professionals within the various states.
Independio’s research team will review how the app will work in other countries, and begin planning a launch to international markets. This will begin with English speaking countries and continue until translations and customizations are made to support other countries worldwide.
Future Development Goals
Independio has one major mission in regards to our professionals; we want to create features that support state and federal reporting on a national and international level. To meet this goal, Independio will roll out a state by state reporting system that supports each individual states reporting needs for waiver supports. After that, we will work on developing more understanding of the professional environments in other countries to provide similar customizations for professionals around the world.
While researching the best ways to support individuals with disabilities, our team noticed that Independio’s unique features can also support physical therapy, diabetes management, brain injury rehabilitation and much more. After Independio reaches the goal of global expansion within the next 3 to 5 years, our team will develop features to support other medical conditions that would be well supported with the use of Independio.
