User F demonstrated substantial improvement in Social Engagement after Independio’s structured manual features were introduced. The success rate increased from 33.3% immediately before Independio to 50.0% after three months and 70.0% after six months. This represents a 36.7-percentage-point improvement and approximately 110.2% relative growth from the most recent pre-Independio baseline.
The rate of improvement also accelerated after implementation. During the two pre-Independio quarters, the success rate increased by only 3.9 percentage points. During the first quarter using Independio, it increased by 16.7 points—approximately 4.3 times the previous pace of improvement.

Before Independio, User F’s Social Engagement success rate increased only slightly, from 29.4% to 33.3%. After Independio’s manual features were introduced, successful completions increased from 6 of 18 opportunities immediately before implementation to 8 of 16 after three months. After six months, User F completed 14 of 20 opportunities successfully, producing a 70.0% success rate.
Compared with the most recent baseline, the number of successful completions increased from 6 to 14, representing a 133.3% increase. User F achieved this improvement while also completing two additional opportunities during the latest quarter.
Average prompts per opportunity decreased from 5.83 immediately before Independio to 4.31 after three months and 4.00 after six months, representing a 31.4% reduction.
Average prompts per successful completion decreased from 17.5 to 8.6 after three months and 5.7 after six months, representing an approximately 67.3% reduction from baseline. Total quarterly prompts also decreased from 105 immediately before Independio to 80 after six months, a 23.8% reduction, despite the increase in opportunities and successful completions.
These changes indicate that User F completed substantially more Social Engagement opportunities while requiring less prompting overall and considerably fewer prompts relative to each opportunity and successful completion.
The written goal requires User F to complete Social Engagement opportunities successfully at least 75% of the time within an average of four prompts per opportunity.
After six months, User F used exactly 80 prompts across 20 opportunities, averaging four prompts per opportunity and meeting the prompting requirement. The success rate reached 70.0%, which was 5 percentage points below the 75% requirement.
At 20 opportunities, User F needed at least 15 successful completions to meet the success-rate requirement. User F achieved 14 successful completions and was therefore one successful opportunity short of meeting the complete goal as written.

User F’s goal:
“User F will participate in social activities (including bowling leagues, peer get togethers, hangout’s with friends/peers, etc.) 3 times per month within 4 prompts 80% of the time for one quarter.”
Data collected in 4th Quarter (6 months before Independio features were introduced):
5/17 = 0.294 * 100 = 29.4% success rate, 118/5 = 23.6 prompts to successes
Data collected in 1st Quarter (3 months before Independio features were introduced):
6/18 = 0.333 * 100 = 33.3% success rate, 105/6 = 17.5 prompts to successes
Data collected in 2nd Quarter (3 months after Independio features were introduced):
8/16 = 0.5 * 100 = 50% success rate, 69/8 = 8.6 prompts to successes
Data collected in 2nd Quarter (6 months after Independio features were introduced):
14/20 = 0.7 * 100 = 70% success rate, 80/14 = 5.7 prompts to successes

User F demonstrated a clear acceleration in Social Engagement progress after Independio’s structured manual features were introduced. The success rate more than doubled relative to the most recent pre-Independio baseline, increasing from 33.3% to 70.0%. At the same time, average prompts per opportunity decreased to the written limit of four.
The most notable finding is that User F moved from meeting neither component of the goal to fully meeting the prompting requirement and coming within one successful opportunity of meeting the success-rate requirement. Successful completions increased by 133.3%, while prompts per successful completion decreased by approximately 67.3%.
Because this case study includes one participant without a comparison group, the results are presented as preliminary evidence of a positive association rather than proof that Independio features alone caused the improvement. In addition, Independio was used in conjunction with Skill Building and/or Behavioral services in all case studies, showing an additional correlation between Independio features and professional staff involvement when working on these skills.
Case studies conducted on individuals with verbal skills did perform higher overall with Independio, however, the single case study with the individual who is non-verbal, did not make as much progress as the other cases, though there was still a marked improvement in skill acquisition.
Based on the evidence of the case studies presented, there is a lot of promise for Independio use to increase skill mastery and decrease prompts received after a 6 month period. In addition, the qualitative data from professional staff shows that professionals are finding their individuals easier to work with, the data is much easier to manage, and reports were easier to file. More data is needed to determine if the individual maintained the level of mastery after a year and beyond.
Here is some shared feedback from the individuals who worked with their professionals to complete a case study with Independio.
